It's because of our reputation for great project management and attention to detail that Generali approached us.
Generali provide a broad and comprehensive range of insurance products, including property, life and employee benefits. Initially, they asked us to quote on the design and production of their latest exhibition stand at the Airmic annual conference. The Airmic conference is based around risk management and business insurance, so it made perfect sense for Generali to exhibit there.
Octink put together a full exhibition stand design proposal for a truly show-stopping and impactful sales area. This stand differed from others we'd worked on previously. Usually, a client wants to display products for clients to learn more, or prefer to use advertising on display boards in order to improve footfall to their stand. With the Generali Group and their non-physical insurance products and policies, we needed to rethink our strategy slightly. We came up with a radical new concept that not only met their budget, but more importantly met all their requirements - and then some! Our initial 3D concept models wowed the client, and you can see in the carousel above how closely the 3D renders match their eventual physical counterparts!
We decided to split the stand into 2 fully functioning sections. Firstly, the display stand. This area was open and airy - the perfect environment for conversations that can lead to conversions. It featured a podium with the company branding on it, decal cut from red vinyl. Behind this, a fully stocked beverage fridge, a modern design table and 6 chairs, a TV screen display advertising recessed into the wall, illumination, and shelving for product information booklets. All these elements were presented in the brand colour pallet - a striking white and deep red combination that speaks sophistication. Above this striking sales arena sits 2 metre wide built up letters with halo backlit illumination - ensuring that the brand stands out under any lighting condition! The branding on the stand consisted of latex printed vinyl elements, and decal cut logos.
Secondly, we custom built a separate room off to the side of the main exhibition stand. This space featured L-shaped sofas and was created solely for conversations. The idea was to create an immersive customer and user experience. The initial phase would occur at the main stand, under the glow of the Generali fret cut letters. After customer profiling in order to qualify their needs, they could then progress to the second area meeting room where more in-depth conversation could take place.
This project was a triumph in stand design, with our clients' being bowled over by a personal and excellent first experience with Octink. We look forward to working with the team again in future stand projects and endeavours!
