Interior Manifestation at British Sugar

Octink were approached by agency THEM to supply an interior manifestation and office branding project. This is following a referral from BW for the corporate interiors work completed with the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust. We were invited to tender for a new project “Project Greengrass”.

The brief – to supply and install office signage and branding for a new three-storey office work space being built for British Sugar.

With the interior designed by THEM in conjunction with architects Morey Smith, Octink were awarded the tender in July 2018. We then began developing a programme of works taking in sampling phases, full survey and ultimately the delivery of all branding over a 5 day period. This type of agile work is perfect for Octink's expert installation crews, who pride themselves on slick and timely installations whilst retaining a paramount view of workplace health safety. The workplace was to feel light and airy in office design, whilst still retaining an executive corporate working environment.

The interior manifestation included over 250m of custom frosting patterns decal cut from window vinyl. these glass manifestations were then installed by Octink fitters on critical locations on the interior office glasswork. In addition to the window films, further decal cut vinyls were laid in the kitchens, canteens and bathrooms. These wall graphics were to convey wayfinding and environmental messaging and worked as a cost effective and branded alternative to door signs and office signs. Bronze coloured aluminium cut letters were installed on each floor and in the reception to improve the customer journey and give the building a professional feel.
