Millbank Building Wrap

We produced a high quality building wrap for St Edward Homes and Sectorlight at Millbank in Westminster. Octink is heavily involved in the Millbank project, supplying different areas of our service offering to the scheme. These include the clear hoarding and the building banner scaffold wrap.

Towering high above the bespoke clear hoarding we created and installed at the construction site, this wrap perfectly blends into its surroundings. In fact, you wouldn't even know that the Millbank building wrap was a banner if you drove past!

Firstly, Sectorlight procuring a high resolution building wrap design print to help create the illusion. This was then printed at on a 1:1 scale to the building behind. Consequently, the scaffold structure framework for the large format building wrap had to be exactly to size too. Octink carried out all necessary calculations on this outdoor advertising wrap installation. Chiefly, this included high winds and weather protection, as well as weight and compliance testing. Finally, the banner needed to be installed in one seamless drop replicate the facade of the building.

The wrap measures an impressive 30 metres by 30 metres and was printed onto supreme PVC mesh. Illumination was added to the top and bottom of the banner to replicate lighting at different times of the day. In addition, providing extra lighting to the clear hoarding below and pavement it adorns.
