Royal Albert Wharf Marketing Suite, Interior Fit-Out & Signage

Our brief from Galliford Try was to produce a marketing suite with the ‘wow factor’ for the Notting Hill Housing group, as the start of a development of 400 new apartments at the Royal Albert Wharf in London’s trendy Docklands area, to be delivered within 12 weeks.

With such a targeted timeline in mind, we had to ensure that any challenges we could see were addressed promptly. With a stunning exterior planned using 800 lengths of British Red Cedar that had to be installed on site, and two glass skylights of 2.4 x 1.2m, our experience and expertise were critical for completion of the job. We used our extensive knowledge to plan the finish of the cedar window reveals while maintaining the necessary square clean lines, as well as sourcing the material under such exacting deadlines.

The finished marketing suite, completed entirely by Octink, has two soft seating areas, a welcome reception, two meeting rooms which open up with the aid of bi-fold doors, a back of house kitchenette, cloakroom and store rooms, as well as large interactive model area. The main entrance comprises a large glazed floor to ceiling area, in addition to two large glass sky lights, with bespoke hand-made furniture including sofa’s and soft seating. We also designed and built a two bedroom show flat with en-suite and winter garden balcony area with bi-fold doors.

Galliford Try has been extremely impressed with what we have achieved within such tight deadlines. They have commended the quality of the finish which will be held up as an example to the different trades that need to be involved in the build of the 400 apartments.

We delivered on the ‘wow factor’ with a unique and modern look, and are extremely proud with the end result.
