The W1 Hoarding – London’s Luxury Facade

The W1, prestige development of luxury apartments in the heart of Marylebone provided Octink with the opportunity to bring the design for the W1 hoarding, an intricate and multi layered facade, to life.

Working with design agency TC Communications, the challenge was to bring a 23m long hoarding up to the highest possible specification using contrasting materials, layers and finishes.

An intensive phase of material prototyping and selection also ensured that all expectations were well managed through the design phase to create a finished facade that with its combination of layered wood finishes, stressed metals and stand-off fixings oozes luxury.

The resulting W1 hoarding is one of a kind, the result of a complex vision that provided a true test of our skill and expertise to bring this great design concept to life.
