Wembley Park Steps Vinyl Wrap

We continued our ongoing body of work at Wembley Park by wrapping the Spanish Steps leading up to the world famous Wembley Stadium. The Wembley Park steps are updated often featuring work by different artists. Laying vinyl flooring on stairs is never easy, so we committed 5 of our Octink installation crews to get the job done smoothly!

This area sees heavy footfall due to its close proximity to the Wembley Park Tube Station and London designer outlets, not to mention that it allows easy access between the stadium and the SSE Arena. This means we had to select a vinyl that not only looked great, but was also adhesive enough that it was safe to use on the stair treads. For this we selected Streetwrap & mirror gold vinyl. Large format printing is what we do best, so we quickly set to work printing the vinyl on our Durst 160 UV printer. After this, it was cut to size by our finishing team.

The end result was fantastic and was even shared on Wembley Park's and London's official Instagram pages! The stair wrap created the perfect 3D effect, whilst the mirror gold really emphasised the lettering and caught the eye. The Spice Girls played at Wembley a few days after we laid this vinyl, and it was great to see the stairs being featured in so many gig-goer's before and after show pictures!
